An online gallery of the creative work of three generations of the Cooper family from the North West of England.
On this website you will find over 2500 photographs of British railways from 1932 to the 1960's taken mainly by WD Cooper, but including some images taken by his brother DS Cooper.
Also featured are a over 200 gouache paintings of buses, trams, trolleybuses, commercial vehicles and railway scenes painted by GS 'Sid' Cooper. This is just a small representation of the life's work of one of the UK's leading transport artists.
Finally, there are some examples of artwork produced by myself, DP Cooper.
Most of the images shown on this site are available as prints, or for reproduction in books, calendars, greetings cards etc. The WD Cooper collection photographs are also available as 'rights managed' stock images.
There are also a large number of GS Cooper originals for sale.
